This program provides young teens the chance to visit local hot spots every day and to participate in overnight camping trips to breathtaking locations throughout Southern California. For camping trips, a tent and sleeping bag are needed for each camper. Supervision ratio is one counselor for
every twenty campers.
Grades: 6-9 (as of fall 2010)
Locations: North Oaks Park, Santa Clarita Park, and Valencia Meadows Park
Dates: Eight weeks, June 14 - August 6In observance of Independence Day, there will be no camp on July 5.
Time: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.*
*Actual hours may vary depending on weekly excursions.
Cost:
- $214/week 5 days (M-F)
- $180/week 3 days (M/W/F)
- $194/week 4 days (Tu-F week 4 only. No camp July 5.)
- $160/week 2 days (W/F week 4 only. No camp July 5.)
- Fees include admission to field trips.
- $242/week 3 days (Tu/W/Th Camping weeks. There will be no camp held on Monday or Friday on the camping weeks)
- Fees include lodging, admission into trip locations, and some meals.
