Explorer Camp is geared towards the older elementary school child where children will participate in age appropriate activities such as sports, swimming and crafts in addition to a weekly field trip to a “more exotic” location in Southern California. Come join us for an awesome summer! Supervision ration is one counselor for every ten campers.
Grades: 4-6 as of fall 2010
Locations: North Oaks Park, Santa Clarita Park, and Valencia Meadows Park
Dates: Eight weeks, June 14-August 6
In observance of Independence Day, there will be no camp on July 5.
Time: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Core camp hours are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Cost:
- $158/week 5 days (M-F)
- $124/week 3 days (M/W/F)
- $138/week 4 days (Tu-F week 4 only. No camp July 5.)
- $104/week 2 days (W/F week 4 only. No camp July 5.)
- Fees include admission to field trips on Wednesdays, one camp T-shirt per camper, and a daily snack.

- Closed-toed shoes must be worn everyday.
- Campers enrolled in Explorer Camp are required to wear a camp t-shirt on Wednesday field trips. Each camper enrolled in Camp Clarita will receive one free t-shirt on their first day of camp.
- Campers must be entering 4th grade as of fall 2010.
- Please pack a sack lunch for your camper daily.
