Explorer Camp is geared towards the older elementary school child where children will participate in age appropriate activities such as sports, swimming and crafts in addition to a weekly field trip to a “more exotic” location in Southern California. Come join us for an awesome summer! Supervision ration is one counselor for every ten campers.
Ages: 9-12 (by start of the camp week enrolled)
Locations: North Oaks Park, Santa Clarita Park, and Valencia Meadows Park
Dates: Eight weeks, June 18-August 10, 2012
In observance of Independence Day, there will be no camp on July 4.
Time: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Core camp hours are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Cost:
- $163/week 5 days (M-F)
- $128/week 3 days (M/W/F)
- $75/week 2 days (T/Th) - no field trip
- Week 3 prorated due to holiday on July 4.
- $138/week (M. T, Th, F) or $103/week (M/F)
- Fee includes: one camp T-shirt per participant, swimming, field trip, and daily snacks. No additional cost for extended care.

- Closed-toed shoes must be worn everyday.
- Campers enrolled in Explorer Camp are required to wear a camp T-shirt daily. Each camper enrolled in Camp Clarita will receive one free t-shirt, regardless of the number of weeks enrolled, on their first day of camp.
- Campers must meet age eligibility by start of the camp week (no exceptions).
- Please bring a sack lunch for your camper daily.
